The golden anniversary cele- bration was attended by many of the couple’s friends and relatives and music was provided by the Roger Furman Band. Mia Esopi is on PSU dean's list Mia Esopi, of Dallas, a junior at Penn State/Uni- versity Park majoring in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, was recently named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester. Esopi is the daughter of Margaret and E. Gene Esopi, of Dallas. State Representative Karen Boback presented the couple with a citation from the State Capitol in Harrisburg, commem- orating the special occasion. Father Vinny Dang of St. Franc- es Cabrini Church, Carverton, re- newed the couple’s marriage VOWS. Guy and Marge were united in Holy Matrimony on Feb. 27, 1960 in a marriage ceremony perform- ed by the Rev. Kane at our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake. Bridesmaid was Mary Ellen Si- chler and best man was Nick Ru- sinko, brother of the bride. A wedding reception was held at the former Beaumont Inn. Margaret is the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Cebrick Ru- sinko, of Harveys Lake. Guy is the son of the late Ira Peters, of Lan- caster and the late Katherine Pe- ters, of Eureka, California. The couple has four children, Joseph, of Manassas, Virginia; Pa- tricia, Ronald and Christopher, all of Tunkhannock; 17 grandchil- dren and one great-grandchild.
