Lake-Lehman Band cys annual Christmas banquet Faculty, students, family and friends of the Lake-Leh- man Band recently attended their annual Christmas Banquet at Appletree Terrace, sii Estates in Dal- las. A dinner, complimented by an ice cream sundae buf- + fet, was followed by an awards presentation. Staff and members of the marching band received recognition for their participation in the outdoor season where they placed as a finalist in the Atlantic Coast Championships held in early November. Awards were also presented to two long-time mem- bers and officers of the Lake-Lehman Band Sponsors As- sociation, Sheila Gionfriddo and Dave Schweizer, for their many years of hard work and dedication to all as- pects of the band. PEOPLE BRIEFS Kyle Gallagher studies in Korea Kyle Gallagher, son of Daniel and Catherine Gallagher of © Dallas, spent the fall 2009 "semester studying abroad in Seoul, Korea through a pro- gram run by Saint Michael’s College. Gallagher was a student at Yonsei University. He is a junior business ad- ministration major at Saint Michaels, a liberal arts, resi- dential Catholic college located Faust graduates from basic training Air Force Airman Taryn M. Faust graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in mil- itary discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare prin- ciples and skills. She is the daughter of Char- lene Ebert of Greenwave Boule- vard, Larksville, and John Faust of Faust Lane, Shaver- town. Faust is a 2009 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. Kocher receives degree in Advertising Sheena Lee Kocher, of Nox- en, recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising.
