Third-grader Caitlin Walsh saved the team with amazing de- fense. Maddie Kelley led the Fe- ver scoring with 14 points while Tiffany Zukoski and Lia Barbacci both added two points. Great defense was played by the Fever team, led by Nicole Ca- vanaugh. Bendick Law 20 Gattuso Group 16 Bendick Law Liberty defeated the Gattuso Group Silver Stars, 20-16. Four players scored points for the Liberty, led by Brielle Brace, Angela Bendick, Carly Clemente and Rachel Luke. UPS Store 38 Brace’s Orchard 20 Excellent defense by Alexis Wyandt and Megan Meyer gave the UPS Store Sun a 38-20 win over the Brace’s Orchard Mon- archs. Alexa Dosiak led the Sun scor- ing with eight while Breianna Coolbaugh chipped in with four points and great rebounding. The Monarchs fought hard with Paige Evans scoring 14, Ally Rome adding four and Arden Rice throwing in a bucket. Maura Chappell led the Monarchs re- bounding. Grasshopper Lawns 21 McCabe Mortgage 17 Team Mercury from Grasshop- per Lawns played an excellent game to earn a win over the McCabe Mortgage Group Shock, 21-17. Team Shock never gave up with Emma Doran pulling down eight rebounds and scoring two points. Shayla Stuart had two re- bounds and a bucket while Emily Heltzel played strong defense. Amory Medical 26 Smith Insurance 22 Courtney Hoats scored 18 points and Rachel Healey added six to lead the Amory Medical Sparks to a 26-22 victory over the Storm from Smith Insurance Group. Sparks rebounding was led by Madison Kaminski. The Storm had a balanced offensive effort with Courtney Devens scoring six points and five each by Katie Kapral and Katie Snedecker. Colin Pertl and Lee Eckert combined for 14 points for the Knicks while Andy Zeyher added a basket. Gallis Insurance 26 Deluca Law 13 Connor Motley scored 8 points and Chris Mening added 4 as the Gallis Insurance Lakers defeated the Bulls from Deluca Law Offic- es, 26-13. Adam Niznik and Nico Deluca had six points each for the Bulls. Thirty-One Lake Street 36 Thompson Trucking 29 Jack Tomko scored 10 points, Ryan Martin had nine and Jacob Stritzinger chipped in four as the Magic from Thirty-One Lake Street edged the Thompson Trucking Raptors, 36-29. Christian Motley led the de- fense and Aiden Nelson con- trolled the boards. Dalton Simpson and Matthew Dillon scored 21 and 12, respect- fully, for the Fieldhouse Sporting Goods Hornets in a losing effort. The defense and rebounding of Matthew Wrubel and Ethan Moo- ney kept the Hornets in the game to the very end. Andrew Kovalick added six points. Brody Strickland and Vince Vespico played strong de- fense and provided support for the team. Dallas Rotary Timberwolves was led by Michael Anderson with 18 points while Jakob Flores dished in another five and Justin Fell added four. Quad Three Group 23 Wyoming Valley Auto Sales 18 Quad Three Group Celtics surged in the fourth quarter for a close win, 23-18, over the Wyom- ing Valley Auto Sales Raptors. Matt Mathers led the team with 16 points. Elijah Chester al- so scored a basket while Josh Holdredge and Caleb Sweitzer both played excellent under the basket rebounding and on de- fense. : The Wyoming Valley Auto Sales Raptors were led offensive- ly by Chris Murray with 12 points and Eric Berley with six points.
