Ackerman is a member of the class of 2010. hirteen high school students from New Jer- sey and Pennsylvania gained valuable in- sight into the popular field of teacher educa- tion at the Misericordia University Future Teachers Summer Career Exploration Camp in June. The three-day and two-night Misericordia Future Teachers Career Exploration Camp provided an op- portunity for junior and senior high school students to learn about the education profession. The students participated in hands-on sessions designed to introduce the future teachers to meth- ods and strategies that real educators utilize to make learning fun and meet the diverse needs of all learners. Participating students also experience what it is like to live on a college campus during their over- night stay.
