Luzerne Bank opens new Lake office Luzerne Bank celebrated the establishment of its newest Lake Branch Office with a grand open- ing and ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 15. As the doors opened for busi- ness, visitors were personally greeted by the bank president and CEO Bob Snyder, Luzerne Bank board members and offi- cers, the branch manager and staff. Nearly 300 cash-filled, eco- friendly travel mugs were distrib- uted to visitors. Other highlights of the new Lake branch office grand opening included prize drawings for gift cards, digital picture frames and a high-definition television. These prizes will be awarded on December 17. The Lake office is a newly re- furbished, state-of-the-art build- ing at the corner of Routes 118 and 415 in Dallas Township. The Luzerne Bank Lake office includes expanded amenities such as two drive-through teller windows, a drive-through ATM, a large parking lot and additional teller stations. In addition, the Lake office dé- cor features art that shows many of the area’s landmarks and famil- iar sights from Harvey's Lake past. DES CHRISTMAS CONCERT PLANNED The Dallas Elementary School Chorus and Band will present their annual Christmas concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18. The fourth and fifh grade group will showcase its talents under the direction of Harold Hoover, the school’s music director. New songs and old classics are sure to please.
