SWOYERSVILLE presents You can Meet Henry Ford’ on October 5 The Lindhill Institute, located in Dal- las, provides free historical programs to the public. It will hold a dramatization called “Meet Henry Ford” at 2 p.m. on - Sunday, Oct. 5, at Perugino’s Restau- rant in Luzerne. The institute was founded by former Luzerne County Community College faculty member Fred Walters and named for Charles Lindbergh and Wal- ters’ 1925 Shavertown home that ison a hill and serves as the meeting place for the institute. The institute’s all-volunteer group is composed of about six regular mem- bers and 30 to 40 people who can be counted on to help as needed and who hail from a variety of professions but have limited or no theatrical training. “Meet Henry Ford” is being held in honor of this year’s 100th anniversary of the Model T Ford and the 80th anniver- sary of the Model A Ford. Hugh Taylor, 33, of Mountain Top, will play Henry Ford at the dramatization. The program is open to the public but each person must have a ticket.
