GOH students run for funds The Second Annual Race for Educa- tion at Gate of Heaven School in Dallas helped raise funds for classroom equip- ment, such as “smart boards” and other essential educational items. Students who raised money by walking or jog- ging laps around the school were awarded prizes and incentives such as free lunches, dress up day and free snack and popcorn parties as part of their efforts and participation. “The race brings the kids together by raising money for the school, but also by hav- ing fun running with their classmates and getting some exercise all at the same time,” said Michelle Reilly, event coordinator.
