After some brainstorming, Kaitlyn Agnew, Lawren Foss, Jill Franklin, Eliza Kopetchne and Alyssa Ledden decided to sponsor a dance and donate all the proceeds to the UNICEF Tsunami Relief campaign. With the support of their parents and their school coun- selor, Tara Sears, the girls planned and carried out all details of the fundraiser, which raised $682. Mike Youngblood of Northeast Music Authority donated the DJ services. The girls chose UNICEF as the recipient because of its commitment to help save, pro- tect, and improve the lives of children around the world.
