Cole Barbacci and Adam Weaver each threw three innings, picking up eight strikeouts. Cody Lee was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. H.L. Hawkeyes 12, Beaumont Dodgers 5 Curtis McGovern struck out five Dodgers in three innings of work and picked up the victo- ry. Cody Lee also pitched three innings with three strikeouts Curt Barbacci had two hits with three runs scored. Chad Wandel had an RBI single and two stolen bases. H.L. Hawkeyes 10, H.L#10 The Barbacci brothers Curtis and Cole tossed a shutout over four innings. They com- bined for six strikeouts with only two walks. Chad Wandel went 3-for-3 with three runs scored. The public can come to the park’s contact station, 565 Mt. Olivet Road, Friday thru Sunday between 1 and 8 p.m. and borrow rods, reels and a tackle box full of hooks and other tackle. The equip- ment is borrowed in much the same way books are borrowed from a library. Those wanting to borrow gear complete a form and the loan is made. At the end of the loan period the equipment is returned to the site. This pilot program is a partnership between the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the American Sportfishing Association, and Frances Slocum State Park. The program is designed to make it easy for anyone to access fishing tack- . le. This equipment may also be loaned , to groups conducting angler education programs in the community.
