Skills competition rescheduled to Monday The DYB boys third grade skills competition, which was cancelled Monday, Jan. 17, has been rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 24 at Dallas Elementary from 5:30-7:15 p.m. All parents are welcome to attend. The practices scheduled that night are cancelled, and the game between Quad Three and M&T Bank will be rescheduled later in the season. Byron leads Hoban The Bishop Hoban girls 200-yard freestyle relay team of Caroline Bryon, Bryn Mesko, Kelly Dessoye and Missy Sharkey took first at the All-American Meet, which was held at the Lititz Community Pool on Jan. 14 and 15. Byron also set a Hoban school record in finishing second in the 200 freestyle in 1:55.67. She also finished second in the 100 freestyle and third in the 400 freestyle relay. GOLF Donna Zampetti scores an ace Donna Zampetti of Shavertown scored her first career hole in one on Jan. 11 at Ibis Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. She aced the 103-yard 11th hole with a 6-iron. The shot was witnessed by her husband, Ralph.
