Frank's Manufacturing 31, Brace's Orchard 26 Stephen Zapoticky was on fire, scoring 17 points in lead- ing Franks to victory. Dustin Siperko added six points while Bret Wanek dropped in eight. Johnathan Barre was dominant on the glass. Marc Noyalis had 18 points while Eric Novroski tossed in four points for Brace’s. Pat Touhey and Ryan Thomas got tough rebounds. Drs. CDI was led by Neil Shaver with 10 points and Ryan Zapoticky with eight. Alex Manganella added four points. Arris Engineering 18, Parente Randolph 12 Alex Barilla and Brian Goode led a balanced offense and Tommy Stitzer led the rebound- ing for Arris in a tight game. Chris Behm, Michael Carey, and Billy Gately led the scoring for Parente while Aaron Napkora keyed the defense. Dallas Lions 44, M&T Bank 13 Eric Zawatski dominated on both sides of the court, scoring 23 points, as Dallas Lions rolled. Kyle Razawich added eight points for the Lions while Dominic DeLuca played great defense and Jared Hoats keyed the rebounding. M&T was led by Nigel Stearns with five points and Jeff McHutchinson and David Matcho added two . Sneaker King 23, Dough Company 19 Dante DeAngelo scored 20 points and Shane Jacobsen added three for Sneaker King. James DelPriore led the Dough Company with 10 points. Nick Michalisin added five points and Dominic DeGraba two. Arris Engineering 14, Quad Three Group 11 Alex Barilla, Michael Kapral, and Tommy Stitzer led a bal- anced offense for the engineers. Rosenn, Jenkins, and Greenwald 43, Dough Company 35 In a battle of unbeaten teams, Shauna Phillips pounded in 26 points to lead the young lawyers to victory. Abby Mulhern added seven, Julia Clements six, and Hillary Shaub and Nicole Redinski scored two each. Dough Company’s Carli Menzel had 15 and Jen Rutalis 12, Sarah Krugulski and Adria Eckert had four each. Meghan Pietraccini worked hard on defense. DYB 8TH GRADE TOURNAMENT TEAM Dallas 50, Meyers 40 In the Solomon League Steve Meskers led Dallas with 18 points, Josh Backes followed with nine points. Jackie Ellis and Tommy Youells scored six points apiece. Scott Gallup and Brian Haughwout chipped in four points apiece and Henry Messinger added a three pointer for the winners. Dallas 48, Solomon 35 In the Solomon League Josh Backes led Dallas with 17 points, followed by Tommy Youells with 12 points and Steve Meskers with 11 points. Jackie Ellis, Scott Gallup and Brian Haughwout chipped in four points apiece and Ryan Urzen added two points for DYB. N. Pocono tops DYB girls tournament team The Dallas Youth Basketball girls played their first tournament in the Hoop City (Throop) Christmas Tournament. North Pocono fifth grade girls defeated DYB bythe score of 22-12. The top scor- ers for DYB were Ashley Dunbar and Rachel Olszewski with four points each, followed by Madeline Mulhern with three and Tanner Englehart with one. Excellent defense was provided by Jessica Hiscox, Meghan O’Brien and Alyssa Menzel. Cara Pricher played a fine playmaking role. The team is coached by Charlie Mulhern and Eric Menzel.
