Scott Leonard of E. Scott Leonard Associates, a planning and design contractor in Drums, selected a variety of trees for the campus, including red pine, red spire pear, frasier fir, white crabapple, hybrid elms, Chinese dogwood, sour- wood, red maple, weeping larch and zelkova trees. Landscapers from Green Valley Landscaping, which won the planting bid, planted the trees last week. The tree planting effort was coordinated with a similar proj- ect in Dallas Borough. CM’ campus features a variety of existing trees and natural spaces, including pine trees mentioned in the college’s alma mater that date back to Misericordia’s founding 80 years ago.
