Open houses at Penn State W-B campus Penn State Wilkes-Barre will host its annual “Spend a Sum- mer Evening” open houses for high school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates on Tues- day, July 13 and Wednesday, July 21. In addition to seven baccalaureate and seven associ- ate degree programs that can be completed at the campus, Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers the first two years of most of the University’s’ 160+ degree majors. An associate degree program in Nanomanufacturing Engi- neering Technology was added to the campus’s mix of pro- grams last year and a four-year bachelor’s degree in English has been approved to begin this fall. The summer seminar program was designed by the US. Naval Academy’s office of admissions to give students a taste of the challenges and benefits of a Naval Academy education.
