Myer Messinger picked up the win, striking out five in five innnings. ame processor pleads® | no contest to charges * DALLAS - Kevin N. Naugle, owner of Naugle Custom Butchery, Hunlock Creek, en- tered a “No Contest” plea on charges filed by the Pennsylva- nia Game Commission. On May 17, Naugle entered the plea on two counts of buy- ing and selling game and one count of unlawful taking and possession of game or wildlife in front of District Magistrate James Tupper, Trucksville. The plea agreement ended a two- year investigation conducted by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. According to Wildlife Con- servation Officer Jim Jolley, the investigation began after he started receiving complaints from successful hunters about the amount of meat being re- turned from their deer har- vests. During the course of the investigation, Naugle allegedly sold more than 1,500 pounds of processed deer meat, which in- cluded kielbasa, bologna, sum- mer sausage, ground meat and venison bacon. Naugle faces revocation of his hunting and trapping privi- leges along with fines and costs totaling $3,000, plus $1,858 in restitution. Proceeds will benefit the Legion's scholarship fund.
