Bishop O’Reilly 54, Northwest Area 16 Jan. 5 — Bishop O'Reilly jumped out to a 27-8 first-half lead in their rout of North- west. : Janelle Zabresky led the Queenswomen with 12 points and Brittany Davis added 10. Wyoming Valley West 66, Tunkhannock 52 Jan. 5 — The game was tied at the half, but Valley West outscored Tunkhannock 20-10 in the third quarter to give the Lady Spartans a lead they would not relinquish. Lady Tiger freshman Kris- ten Condeelis led all scorers with 17 points, and teammate Jessica Wildrick added 15. Dallas 48, Nanticoke 35 Jan. 2 — Dallas got off to a quick start and put up a strong defense in scoring an impor- tant victory. The Lady Mountaineers outscored ‘the Trojanettes by 12 points through the first eight minutes. The Dallas de- fense then helped complete the triumph, as Nanticoke would get no closer than 10 points the rest of the way. Six different Lady Moun- taineers scored, led by Mered- ith Lacey’s 13 points. She sank all three Dallas three-point baskets. From there, the se- quence was Rosalyn Wentko (9), Jackie Hardwick (8), Shannon Thomas (7), Ash- leigh King (6) and Cory Pat- ton (5). Dallas limited Nanticoke to one first-quarter field goal. Wyoming Valley West 50, Tunkhannock 45 Jan. 6 — Wyoming Valley West held off a Tunkhannock rally in the fourth quarter to post a victory. Kyle Wilson scored 17 and Colin Hopkins added 11 for Tunkhannock. Nanticoke 63, Lake-Lehman 44 Jan. 6 — Alan Sheridan led Lake-Lehman with 11 points, including three 3-point goals. Bishop O’Reilly 74, Wyoming Seminary 57 Jan. 5 Tim Crossin scored a game-high 20 points and Josh Aciukewicz added 16 as Bishop O'Reilly downed Wyoming Seminary on Satur- day night. Matt Flanagan chipped in 12 points for the winners, who led 31-22 at halftime and 55-37 after three quarters. Ross Baltimore led Wyoming Seminary with 16 points. Tyler Droppers and Mark Vanderburg added 12 and 10 points, respectively. Hanover Area 67, Lake-Lehman 28 Jan. 3 Hanover Area outscored Lake-Lehman 23-4 in the second quarter, then cruised to a victory. Nanticoke 64, Dallas 40 Jan. 3 — Robbie Myers and Matt Wilson scored nine points apiece to pace Dallas, which trailed by only one point at halftime. Matt Wilson added eight. Hazleton Area 58, Tunkhannock 42 Jan. 3 — Kyle Wilson (19 points) was the lone Tunkhan- nock player to score in double figures.
