Kindergarten Readiness at Lehman Lake-Lehman School District will feature reading readiness in a Kindergarten Readiness Program on October 14-16. Fac- ulty from each Lake-Lehman el- ementary building will conduct the presentation. The program is only for chil- dren who will be 5 years old on Dallas Girl’s Soccer Boosters The Dallas High School Girl's Soccer Booster club is working for the benefit of the students on the Girl's High School Soecer Team. The club is in its early years and hopes to strengthen the program for the children. The club currently runs sev- eral small fund raisers each year to provide an end of year or before September 1, 2004 and are planning to enter kindergarten for the 2004-2005 year. Phys ed program for home-schooled kids The Rock Recreation Center will kick off its six-week Physi- cal Education Program for Home-schooled Students on Monday, October 20 at 340 Carverton Road, Trucksville. Sessions will be held on consec- utive Mondays, ending on No- vember 24. The program, designed to promote physical well-being, will include calisthenics, age- appropriate games, and gym ac- tivities. Sessions for elementary students (grades K-6) will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sessions for junior/senior high school students (grades 7-12) will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. The cost for Rock Rec Center SPCA Surgical Observation Program The SPCA Surgical Observation Program which began in September, offers upper level high school students the opportunity to observe a neutering surgery.
