Jody Tripler and Lisa Wasser added nine and eight points, respec- tively, for the Black Knights, Lehman jumped to a 12-2 first quarter lead and never looked back. Dragon gave arguably the best perfor- mance of the two-day event, knocking’ off two state place-winners enroute to the 135-pound title. Dragon decisioned North Star's Chuck Wiltrout, who was seventh at Class 2A states last season, 7-3 in the semifinals, then held off Blue Mountain's Chris Renninger, an eighth- place finisher at 3A states last March, 4-2 in the final. “I didn’t think I was in shape,” Drag- on said of the early part of the season. Fly tying classes start January 20 The Stanley Cooper Sr. Chap- ter of Trout Unlimited is accept- ing registrations for its annual fly tying course. The course will be held every Monday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., tentatively begin- ning January 20, 2003.
