The theme of the younger students’ performance was “Holiday Zoobilee,” by John Jacobson and Alan Billingsley. In the play, a Zookeeper, who is usually a very friendly man, becomes grumpy because he has to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. The Angels Michelle Ash and Lucia Walkowiak accompanied lan Williams and Anna Layaou, who played Joseph and Mary. i Seth Sabol was the penguin and Christina Valenti and Anthony Huntington were elephants at the zoo. Eventually they dis- cover that each of them has a special gift to give him. “Shepherds, Stars and A Savior” told the story of a group of shep- herds who have lost their way to Bethlehem because they have stopped to help a stranger in need.
