John Shutz (125), Ryan Post (130), Matt Dragon (135), Derrick White (140) and Jeremy Shutz (145) all recorded pins as the Black Knights erased a 17- 15 deficit. Dragon’s pin in 26 seconds was the quickest of the night. Winning by decision were John Hous- sock (119), Matt Stewart (160) and Willie Webber (171). Northwest 70, Lake-Lehman 49 SHICKSHINNY — Northwest placed five players in double figures as the Rangers rolled over the Black Knights. Jared Sadowski paced Lake-Lehman with a game-high 14 points. GIRLS BASKETBALL Dallas 61, Bishop Hannan 53 DALLAS — Shannon Thomas scored 19 points and Rosalyn Wentko added 14 to lead the Mountaineers past the Lancers. White is Ivy League all-academic Maureen White of Harveys Lake, a sophomore on the Columbia Uni- versity field hockey team, was recently named to the Ivy League all-aca- demic team. White is a graduate of Lake-Lehman High School and the daughter of Joe and Anne White. She was on the dean’s list at Columbia her first two semesters there with a 3.54 grade-point average. Dallas swim coach happy In new home By SCOTT VINNACOMBE Ii Post Correspondent DALLAS — In his ninth year as head coach of the Dallas swimming team, Matthew Stretanski has something to be extremely excited about. For years his swimmers have done all of their work else- where. College Misericordia was the team’s practice facility for swimming, diving was practiced at other schools, and the Mountaineers’ home meets were held at schools out- side the Back Mountain. Those rough times are no more. This year for the first time, he and his squad have a pool to call their own. “It’s a beautiful facility,” says Stretanski. Holly Shiber named to All-American team Wilkes University senior midfielder Holly Shiber has been named to the Mid Atlantic Re- gion Women’s All-America third team by the Na- tional Soccer Coaches Association of America. A three-time Freedom Conference first team all-star, Shiber helped Wilkes land a berth in the Freedom Conference title game for the first time this fall. The Dallas High School graduate fin- ished her senior season with eight goals and three assists from her midfield position. During her four-year career with the Lady Colonels, Shiber amassed 37 goals and 23 as- sists. She ended her career as the second all- time leading goal scorer in school history. and Kayla Caruso. Sappe, a sophomore, allowed 1.39 goals per game and "had a save percentage of .844. Her seven shutouts were a Juniata sin- gle-season record. She surrendered one goal in six other games.
