Parent’s Day out program at Dallas Baptist With the holidays approaching, we are all feeling a time crunch. Dallas Baptist Church is sponsoring a Parent's Day Out program on Monday, December 2 as a gift to the families in our area. This program will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the church located on Route 415 in Idetown. Activities will be provided for chil- dren ages 4 through grade 4. Art students exhibit Nov. 25-30 View High School are prepartiis @ Local artists who study draw- ing and painting at Sue Hand's Imagery will present the studio’s 27th Annual Homecoming Week/Thanksgiving Art Exhibit from November 25-30 in Dallas. The students range in age from nearly 90 down to age 5. Adult artists Ann Searfoss, Carverton, Laura Popielarz, Dal- las, and Jean Emanuel, Orange, have participated in all 27 events. Many of the high school stu- dents, who will be exhibiting their art, including = Beth Mariner, a Wyoming Seminary senior, Mike Hiscox, a junior at Dallas High school, and Sam Or- lando, a sophomore at Valley for careers in the various art fields. The student works will include studies in light and shade, color schemes, and technical perspec- tive and composition in all draw- ing and painting media. Sue Hand will present a short art demonstration each day at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The public is invited to view the exhibit at Sue Hand's Im- agery, 35 Main Street, - Dallas during Thanksgiving week.
