Dallas Post Dallas, PA Thursday, October 31, 2002 BN Community # Dallas Halloween Parade The Dallas Kiwanis hosted their annual Halloween parade with close to one hundred children in attendance on Sunday. Costume judging took place at the former Dallas High School and was han- dled by members of the Back Mountain Busi- ness and Professional Association. After the judging the parade, led by members of Boy Scout Troop 281 of Dallas and members of Dallas, Kunkle and Shavertown Fire and Ambulance companies, proceeded down Church Street to the Eastern Star building. The Back Mountain Business and Profes- sional Association pro- vided Halloween treat bags and a party com- plete with a disc jockey, apple cider and dough- nuts. Monetary prizes were awarded to the top five winners in each of five categories.
