The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Thursday, November 22, 2001 5 o Upenings for ® Thanksgiving The 28th annual Naylor-Lem- mond Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Wilkes-Barre at noon on Thanks- giving Day, according to Dinner Coordinator Shawn Murphy. * The dinner, which honors the memories of Benjamin E. Naylor, Ms. Murphy's grandfather, and Ruth and Charles Lemmond, the parents of State Senator Charles D. Lemmond, Jr., is open to “anyone who would like to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner with friends,” says Ms. Murphy. The dinner is served free of charge, although an offering is accepted to help defray the cost of the meal. Organizations that assist in subsidizing the dinner include the Commission on Eco- nomic Opportunity, St. Stephen's Church of Wilkes-Barre, and Luzerne County’s Transportation Department. Reservations for the dinner and for transportation may be made by contacting the First United Methodist Church of Wilkes- Barre at 822-6817.
