This year’s musical is “The Pajama Game.” Set in the 1950's, it tells the story of the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory and the complications which take place within, including an argu- ment between union members and management over wages, and a romance in the workplace. Lake-Lehman has always made an effort to put on suc- cessful and elaborate musical productions, and this one is no exception. The main characters are Sid Sorokin and Babe williams, who will be portrayed by seniors Gordon Stranksky and Laura Yankowski, respec- tively. Sid, the new manager hired to run the factory, falls in love with Babe, who is a member of the grievance committee, in addition to being a worker and a union member. The two fall in love but are divided by their dif- ferences, including the ‘union and the seven and a half cent raise it desires.
