10 Dallas Post Dallas, PA March 14, 2001 Parent volunteers needed for Career Day Dallas High School Career Day will be held on Wednesday, May 23 from 8-11 a.m. The PTSO in conjunction with the Guidance Department will fea- ture presenters from 25 differ- ent professions. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will choose 3 sessions to attend. Each session will run approxi- mately 40 minutes in length. The PTSO is looking for parent volunteers to help out on Ca- reer Day. Get your shots and give the date to the nurse today. eee Because of the very positive response to our Practice SAT given on Feb- ruary 24, we plan to extend the program for the 2001-2002 school year. Practice SAT tests will be offered to area students in grades 9-12 in September and April. Watch for announce- ments and costs in this paper. eee Seniors are encouraged to provide this office with a picture of themselves for our “Dream- board.” This board is located in the Guidance office, and repre- sents each students future plans. So whether your child plans on joining the work force, attending college, tech school, military service or other life choices after graduation, please encourage him or her to bring recent photo to the guidance of- fice. eee March 29 is a student early dismissal. On March 30, which is a teacher in service day, Seniors will be presenting their senior projects.
