The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, January 3, 2001 11 Summer host families sought for orphans Barbara and Brunon Kryger of Kingston, Regional Program Co- ordinators for World Links and Kidsave International Summer Miracles Program, are seeking families interested in making miracles happen for an orphan- age child in the summer of 2001. Through a unique program called "Summer Miracles,” orphanage children ages five to 13 travel to the United States, live with host families for six weeks and attend day camp. This program is de- signed to find permanent families for all kids who participate. The program, sponsored in Luzerne, Lackawanna and surrounding counties by World Links, Inc. and Kidsave International, an organi- zation dedicatéd to ending the harmful institutionalization of children, provides a unique op- portunity for families to meet and get to know a child before making a commitment to adopt. Over the past two summers. the program has brought 30 chil- dren to Northeast Pennsylvania. All of those children found per- manent families during their stay. If you are interested in hosting a child. call Barbara or Brunon Kryger at 714-4722. World Links at 383-8229. or send an e-mail to: Russianchildren@aol.com. Anin- formational meeting will be held on Fri.. Jan. 25, at 7 p.m.. at Holy Trinity Church. 813 Wyoming Ave.. Kingston. Call to make your reservations for the initial meet- ing. (Please do not phone the church for information.)
