He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael; and sister, Mary. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Arlene Matus, nee Gallia; sons Jeffrey and Christopher, both of Dallas; daughter Lynn and grandson Benjamin of Charles- ton, SC; and sister Lee Schmidt of Boston, MA. He was a handsome, vibrant, kind and honest man who enjoyed people. He will be re- membered for his warm heart, positive attitude, and love for and loyalty to his family. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, Wilkes- Barre. Friends and family will be received in the church parlor fol- lowing the service.
