Center St. - The Kingston Township Board of Supervisors has announced that the speed limit has been re- diced on East Center Street from 39 m.p.h. to 25 m.p.h. The Su- pervisors commissioned a traffic and engineering study of the street ~ to determine if the speed limit could be reduced. The speed limit reduction is intended to make the ingress and egress safer for homeowners who have numerous speed limit reduction is also in- tended to make travel safer for motorists. Once the street is posted with the new speed limit signs, a "grace period" will be in effect while mo- torists become used to the new speed limit before enforcement will begin.
