Hand, who owns an art studio on Main Street in Dallas, was the subject of an hour-long "Windsor Park Stories" which aired on WVIA Channel 44 on April 23. The class met for one week at Windsor Park drawing and painting the flowers and trees. In the beginning of the ‘week the class began with exer- cises Hand calls "sketch catches," wherein her students detail the leaves and buds of flowers, and by the end of the week the students the garden. Windsor Park was transformed from an empty lot four years ago into a vibrant perennial garden by the shows producers. Dr. Tony and Kitch Loftus-Mussari. Two hundred thirty six members, ladies and guests were in attendance to honor Potentate Lee R. Hockenberry and his Lady, Betsy. The theme for the evening was "An Evening in Millennium Park", so the pavilion was beautifully decorated with park benches, lamp posts, fountains, trees, shrubs and flowers.
