Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Tillie (Bozak) Bella. She worked for Encon, Inc., Dallas. She was a member of the Carverton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E.; and daughter, Betty Jean Bomberger. Surviving are her sons, Ronald E., Courtland, Va; Richard H., Dallas; and Daniel B., Exeter; daughters, Deborah Casterline- Martin and Kathleen Casterline Casterline-Williams, both of Carverton; brothers, Philip and Leo BellaJr., both of Wilkes-Barre; and Andrew and Richard Bella, both of Bear Creek; sister, Helen Taylor, Durham, N.C.; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death be her husband, Joseph; daughter, Shirley; son, Jack; brothers, Edwards and Joseph; and sis- ters, Norma Soboleski, Irene Dick and Jennie Suchockey. He was born Dec. 19, 1943, in Edwardsville, son of the late An- thony and Helen Buholtz Wisnewski. Mr. Wisnewski was involved in the home building business for the last 25 years, beginning in 1974. He most recently owned and operated Wyndtree Oaks, Dallas. : He was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Brother, Anthony Jr., preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, the former Geraldine Belgio; daughters, Amy Wisnewski, Valhalla, N.Y.; Jane Wisnewski, Dallas; sisters, Antoinette Purcell, Flemington, N.J.; Christine Shiber, Dallas; nieces and neph- ews. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. HARRY G. AHRENDTS Harry G. Ahrendts, 81, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died March 15, 2000, in Fairfax, Virginia. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Harry and Mabel (Lewis) Ahrendts. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a tennis professional. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Smith Ahrendts. Surviving are his daughter, Gail, Annandale, Va.; son, Gary, Attleboro, Mass.; sisters, Anne Goeltz, Rockville, Md.; and Mabel Harter, Trucksville; several nieces and nephews. The tournament was held March 4 and 5, at Bloomsburg University.
