RIVER STREET 3 MILE RUN & WALK - The Jewish Community Center of Wyoming Valley, in con- junction with Bartikowsky Jewelers and Boscov's Department Store will lan glefoot slated to perform at Misericordia The acoustic folk music group Tanglefoot, of Ontario, Canada, will perform a special benefit concert at College Misericordia on Tuesday, March 28 in support of the new Women With Children Program. Tanglefoot, well known in Canada, England and the eastern United States for their energetic music and outstanding songwriting, will perform at 8 p.m. in Walsh Auditorium. ; Tanglefoot's music has been described as "combining tradition with innovation, the hilarious with the poignant, and the furious with the passionate." The five member band began in 1980 performing traditional Canadian folk music and now performs songs rooted in Celtic, French-Canadian and Ottawa Valley traditions.
