Former teach- .ers, class members and their guests were in attendance. The ‘welcome was given by John ‘Monka, class president. Invoca- tion was by Michael Hazzeltine, class treasurer. Master of cer- emonies was William Waters, class vice president. Interesting re- marks to the most enjoyable pro- gram were made by class mem- bers and teachers. ~ Teachers in attendance were ‘Marietta Gay, Robert Henderson, ‘Julia (Dolton) Patterson, Bernard Rockovich. Dallas class of 1969 seeks addresses Noxen Fire Co. encourages residents to join Great Escape = ' ¢ Noxen Volunteer Fire Company has teamed up with the non profit National Fire Protective Associa- tion (NFPA), and other fire depart- ments across North America to execute “The Great Escape” dur- ing Fire Prevention Week, Octo- ber 3-9. Launched by NFPA last fall, “The Great Escape” is a three- year public safety campaign de- signed to get more people to de- velop and practice a home fire escape plan than ever before. Results show that the campaign is already working: NFPA docu- mented 250,000 families partici- pation in “The Great Escape” last year, with 25 lives saved as direct result. The Noxen Volunteer Fire Com- pany and NFPA urge every Noxen resident to participate in “The Great Escape” on Wednesday, October 6, at 7 p.m. As a fun incentive for people to get involved in this unified fire drill, NFPA is also holding two grand prize con- tests for participants.
