Cliff Parker, the event organizer, said 303 animals were given shots, “a new record, by 50 at least.” There were so many pets, the veterinarian, Dr. |. School board members voted unanimously to accept the Plancon Part A approval letter from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. “The letter states ‘the PA Department of Education con- curs with the district that a need for expansion exists and that the state will contribute financially’,” said Doug Trumbower, the district's architect. If the project proceeds on sched- ule, groundbreaking should take place in the spring of 2000. The expansion plans include the ad- dition of six classrooms, a special education room, an art room, and a computer room.
