That's just what happened Monday night, as the Lake-Lehman girls basketball team won its only game of the season’s second half, beating Dallas 49-47 in a game that was tight from start to finish. Kieran Lucarino and Jen Frank led Lehman with 13 points each, Melissa DeCesaris had 12 and Danielle Kern hit for 9. Katie Austin shot the lights out from 3-point territory, hitting four bombs on the way to POST PHOTOS/JIM PHILLIPS a game-high 18 points for Dallas. She was helped by Stephanie Simonitis with 14 and Jenn Noon with 5. Despite the loss, Dallas finished the second half tied with Nanticoke for the top spot in Division II, and was scheduled to meet the Trojans later this week in a tiebreaker.
