Irish Lads at the fair March 1998, marks the 20th anniversary of “The Irish Lads”. The “Lads” have | earned the reputation of be- ing hard working American performers dedicated to the preservation of Irish culture and history through Ireland’s folk and nationalistic music. The quartet has created a unique style and stage pres- ence that combine the best characteristics of several folk groups and entertainers. They have shared the stage with countless performers includ- ing the Clancy Brothers, TommyMakem, Danny Doyle and the legendary Dubliners. “The Irish Lads” have pro- vided genuine entertainment to countless thousands of people through their music, wit and sincere good will. What originated as a hobby now commands much of their time with performances in a seven state area and the Dis- trict of Columbia.
