Born in Thomaston, CT, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Ellen T. Harrigan Carr. She earned a bachelor of sci- ence degree in liberal arts and a master’s degree in library science from Marywood College. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church, Carverton, Kingston Township. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a reference librarian and an associate professor of li- brary science at the University of Scranton. She was a member of the Medi- cal Auxiliary of the Pittston Hos- pital and a former member of the Marywood Alumni Society, Pittston Chapter. She was inducted into the Uni- versity of Scranton’s “Order of Pro Deo et Universitate” in 1979. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Eugene M. Kelly; brother, John and sister, Mary Carr. J Surviving are a son, Eugene M., Mount Zion; daughters, Patricia H. Kelley, Landsdowne; Mame E. He was a graduate of Villanova ~ University and received a bach- elor of arts degree in 1960. He was also president and owner of Premium Brands Bever- age Distributorship, Wilkes-Barre and has been involved in the bev- erage industry since the early 1960s in Luzerne County. Aresident of Dallas for the past 10 years, he formerly resided in West Hazleton. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, and was a member of the board of trustees at College Misericordia, Dallas. He was a member of the Hunts- ville Golf Club, the Valley Country Club, Conyngham; the Westmoreland Club, Wilkes- Barre; and the Wildcat Club of Villanova University. He was an active member of the Sports Car Club of America for many years and was a motor sports enthusiast, participating as both a driver and a fan. Since 1972, he was an active member of the Family Motor Coach Association. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, the former Rita J. Biscontini; a son, C.J.
