Student Exchange now accepting applications for host families American Intercultural Student Exchange is accepting applica- tions from families who are inter- ested in hosting a high school age foreign exchange student for the upcoming school year. Families may choose to host a student for one or two semesters. These high ‘school students, all proficient in the English language, will arrive in the United States in August and attend high schools while liv- ing as members of their American host families. All AISE students have completed a lengthy screen- ing and interview process with representatives in their home countries and come highly rec- ommended by their English teach- ers. Host families provide students with a bed, meals and a loving family atmosphere. The students all have medical insurance and spending money for the duration of their stay. Families and stu- dents are provided with a repre- sentative that is available to an- swer questions and provide coun- seling support throughout the exchange experience. Each year, thousands of fami- lies across the United States host AISE exchange students. AISE currently works with high school students from over 40 countries worldwide. AISE is a nationwide, non-profit educational foundation dedicated to the belief that foreign student exchange is a vital step toward peace among all nations.
