The double ring ceremony was performed by Reverend William Kennard of Alderson United Methodist Church, Harveys Lake. Mrs. Kaplanski is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David C. Scott, Harveys Lake. Mr. Kaplanski is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Kaplanski, Trucksville and the grandson of John Dombrowski, Luzerne. | The bride given in marriage by her parents, chose her friends Kathy London and Kim Haines, as her matrons-of-honors. Brides- maids were her friends, Helen Davis, Laura Oursler, Cindy Lutz and her sister-in-law, Dawn Kaplanski. The groom chose his brother Brian Kaplanski as best man. - Groomsmen were his friends Paul Haines, Carl London, Walt Lutz, Mike Rosengrant and his brother-in-law David L. Scott. Musical selections were performed by organist, Sally Kennard and soloist, Barbara Wall. A cocktail hour and luncheon was provided by East Mountain Inn. The rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the groom at their home in Trucksville. The bride was honored by a shower given by her attendants and the mothers of the couple at Alderson United Methodist Church. Mrs. Kaplanski is a ‘85 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School and a ‘89 graduate of College Misericordia. She is employed by Davis Trophies in Sweet Valley. Kaplanski is a ‘87 graduate of Dallas High School and a ‘90 graduate of McCann School of Business. He is employed as a Customer Service Manager at Redner’'s Market in Edwardswille. Crispell family reunion August 8 «+ The descendants of Thomas Crispell (1795-1861) will hold their 85th ‘Annual Reunion at Dymond’s Grove, Route 29, Noxen on Sat., Aug. 8. A covered dish luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m., followed by fellowship, a business meeting, family photo and “games for the children. -. Thomas Crispell, originally from Ulster Co., NY, settled near Noxen. ‘Many of his descendants reside in Luzerne and Wyoming County today.
