Lake-Noxen’s favorite truck driver visited the school May 21 to show his pen pals his truck and answer their questions face-to-face. Wayne Frederici, a driver for Americtruck, has been a part of the Trucker Buddy program for three years. Frederici writes back and forth with the first graders at Lake-Noxen. He makes sure to send them postcards from all over the United States. The classes of Sheila Race, Tara Lapoky and Sue Yogodzinski were excited to finally see Frederici and ask him what color his truck is, how he eats and even how old he is. But, the real excitement came when the students were allowed in- side Frederici’s truck. Gettingapersonaltour, above, from left, Tim Seabridge, Ariel Scull, Josh Gleco and Frederici.
