6 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, June 3, 1998 Kington Township Rec. Program to begin June 15 The 1998 Kingston Township Summer Recreation Program will be held from June 15 through August 7. The program is open to resident children of Kingston Township who have completed kindergarten up to and including fifth grade; but no children older than 12 years. Proof of residency, sui¢h as a tax bill or drivers license will, be required at the time of registration. A $15 registration fee will be colleced at the time of registration for the first child in a family, S10 fee for each additional child thereafter. The summer program will be conducted weekday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Program partici- - pants will meet at the Center Street Park each morning. Children should bring a bag lunch and drink each day. Counselors Leigh Sabol, Rick Dickson, Randy Moss, Katie Kaleta and Heather Gryziec have been busy planning exciting and en- riching activities for the children. Each day spent at Center Street Park will include sports, games, guest speakers, music, arts and crafts. In addition there will be several field trips throughout the summer. Each Tuesday and Thursday the program will be go- ing swimming at Frances Slocum State Park pool. This program is sponsored by the Kingston Township Board of Supervisors, who encourage you to register your child on June 13 at the Center Street Park Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The last day for registration is June 19. Art exhibition to open at Misericordia A group exhibition titled “Impressions From Traveling” will open at the MacDonald Art Gallery, College Misericordia, on Sat. June 6 -Tues., June 30. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The exhibit will feature a variety of works depicting the artists’ impressions of the scenes they enjoyed while traveling. Work from six are artists will be featured. A reception for the artists will be held Sun., June 7 from 3-5 p.m. in the gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.
