The majority of the funds will go towards this year’s field trips which include places like Historic Gettysburg and Phila- delphia. Another benefit will be assemblies throughout the year, such as the Franklin: Institute Porgram and a show put on by The Bloomsburg Theatre En- semble. The PTA also has many other worthwhile functions that fund-raiser money is used for, that sometimes goes unnoticed. Some of the funds will go towards various programs like the 5th and 6th grade basketball, a RIF (Read- ing is Fundamental) program that encourages students to want to read, and The White Christmas program where the students and the PTA get together to make up food baskets for any needy fami- lies in the school. \ 'Lehman-Jackson students ride in style after winning fund drive awards HRS | | | 3 ul tJ J emmy Mucha; 3rd-Joshua Crawferd; 5th-Brittany Hall; 6th Kimberly Sorber. : The top seller in the school, Rose Krouse was awarded $100 and Mrs. Schwartz's 3rd grade class will be awarded their own pizza party for being the top sell- = ing class in the school.
