HILDA MAE SHUPP Hilda Mae Shupp, a lifelong resident of Noxen, died Jan. 14, 1998, at the Wilkes- Barre Gen- eral Hospital. * Born July 29, 1904, in Noxen, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion Waltman Crispell. She attended the South Run School in Noxen. For many years she worked in the lace department of Natona Mills in Dallas. She was a member of the Bowmans Creek Free Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; brothers Carl and Lawrence Crispell; a sis- ter, Alta Dendler. He was employed as a miner for several years by the Harry E. Colliery and later worked at Owens [llinois until retiring. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He attended the Shoemaker Memorial United Methodist Church, West Wyoming.
