Wagner announces that the 1997 Dallas Yearbooks have been delivered to the school and ' are available to those students who placed orders earlier this year. Alumni may pick up their yearbooks from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily in the senior high school main office. Receipts are helpful, but not necessary. ~ Additionally, a limited number of extra copies are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis for those who did not order earlier. These extra copies go quickly and alumni are encouraged to visit the school as soon as possible. Payment is due in full upon receipt of the book. The 1998 Yearbook Fundraising Campaign is underway and year- book staff members are contacting area businesses and organizations for advertisements. The money raised through this campaign remains within the school and directly benefits students by offsetting the yearbook selling price. Free Financial Aid Night at PSU Nov. 18 A free Financial Aid Information Night will be held at Penn State Wilkes-Barre on Tues., Nov. 18, 7 p.m. in the Bell Atlantic Center for Technology on the campus in Lehman. Misericordia plans trip to tour Philadelphia museum The College Misericordia Alumni Association will host a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Sat., Nov. 22. The high- light of the trip will be a tour of the exhibit “Best Dressed: a Celebra- tion of Style.” The bus will depart from campus at 8 a.m. An introductory lecture about clothing as it reflects culture will be presented at the College on Wed., Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. by Dr. Jennie Congleton, assistant pro- fessor of fine arts. “Best Dressed” offers more than 200 objects on display on fully dressed mannequins and dress forms and in striking groups of Students learn about cells accessories. They include excep- tional attire from thel8th, 19th and 20th centuries The wedding gown worn by Princess Grace (Kelly) in 1956 will be shown for the first time, to- gether with the dresses worn by a bridesmaid and a flower girl. } The tour will be followed by a sumptuous buffet luncheon and free time to explore the museum. Dallas Middle School sixth grade science students from Mrs. Sharon Nardone’s classes recently completed their projects on plant and animal cells.
