Before any renovations begin, there will be an open house on Sat. Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in order to allow former employees and relatives of former employees to tour the building one last time. At the open house we will be recording the names of former employees and years they worked at this facility whether it was Latona or Native Textiles. Relatives of former employees who are unable to attend the open house are invited to provide us with the information. We are planning to erect a plaque once the project is completed in order to pay tribute to those men and women who spent many years of their working lives at the Native Textiles plant.
