The county coroner's office said the woman had been dead several hours before her body was found by a neighbor. Death Stopped by police, man claims he's an M.D., but he's just 'Doc’ West Pittston resident Guy Fasciana, 46, was arrested June 17 by Dallas Borough patrolman Michael Prokopchak after he was observed driving erratically on Rt. 415. A call to Back Mountain Communications Center found Fasciana’s driver's license was suspended. Fasciana told police that it was not suspended and that this had happened to him once before. Police told him he could not drive his car home because of the status of his license. Fasciana became belligerent and argued with the officers, according to police reports. Fasciana told police he was a doctor. Police called Geisinger Hospital and spoke with a doctor who said he would talk to Dr. Fasciana and get back to the police. When the doctor called back, he told police that Dr. Fasciana said he was not in Dallas June 17 and that his son, Guy Fasciana, had his car that night. Dr. Fasciana said his son was not a doctor, but was called “Doc” because he owned Doc’s Sports Bar. Fasciana was charged with false reporting to law enforcement, passing when prohibited, exceeding the maximum speed and disor- derly conduct. A related charge of driving with a suspended license was (continued from page 1) ‘Jolley said Carrie Evans had lived in the Back Mountain "off and on" in recent years. Police would say little about the incident, only that the young woman was dead inside and they were waiting for other investiga- tors to arrive at the scene. One woman was heard screaming “Oh, no,” and others shook their heads in disbelief. One neighbor had gone to N.E.
