He was a member of the Firwood Senior Citizens Group; past presi- dent of the Men's Society and its administrative council; and past president of the St. David's Soci- ety. He was a former member of the Lehman Township Grange and the Orpheus Glee Club. He was active in the Boy Scouts for more than 70 years, was a former Eagle Scout and member of the National Eagle Scout Asso- ciation. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Meleski; a brother, Brinley Miller.
