6 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, September 17, 1997 Bulford descendants hold their 76th annual reunion The 76th annual Bulford re- union of the descendants of John and Rachael Bulford, early pio- neers of the Back Mountain area was held August 17. The reunion was scheduled to be held at the home of Mrs. Hazel Fielding, Sutton Rd., Huntsville. Due to the heavy windstorm on Satur- day, the reunion was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Su- san Roese, Jackson Rd., Lehman Twp. A covered dish luncheon was enjoyed followed by a business meeting presided over by Susan Roese, president; officers, Nancy Schimmel, vice president; Helen Franklin, secretary; Patricia Krivak, historian. Ruby Bulford Elston of Hunts- ville, is the only living grandchild of John and Rachael Bulford’s 22 grandchildren. Ruby observed her 100th birthday Nov. 1, 1996. She was not able to attend this year's reunion. There have been very few reunions that she has missed. Rummage sale at Lehman UM Church The annual Fall Rummage Sale sponsored by the Lehman United Methodist Women will be held at the Lehman Church on Sept. 19, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sept. 20, 9 a.m.-12 noon.
