Lower school graduates recetve awards Wyoming Seminary presented awards to 21 outstanding Lower School students at the annual eighth-grade graduation ceremo- nies held June 2 on the Lower School campus in Forty Fort. Awards were presented by H. Jeremy Packard, school president; John H. Burbank, Jr., dean of the lower school and Jeanne C. Yarmey, assistant dean of the lower school. LCCC students enroll in internship Students enrolled in the Plumbing and Heating Technology and Building Maintenance Technology programs at Luzerne County Com- munity College recently completed a two-semester intern course. The two year associate degree program in plumbing and heating affords the students practical field experience by working with local contractors. The internship courses are only offered in the two-year day program. LCCC is currently forming a new class to start in the Fall. Parents who warn their children about using drugs while they themselves are abusing drugs. What parents don't seem to realize is that it takes more than a good sermon to keep kids on the straight and narrow. It takes a good example.
