Born June 23, 1946, he was the son of the late John and Alice Mizenko Bombick, of Shavertown, Kingston Township. He graduated from Lake-Leh- man High School in 1964 and served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 26 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew, and a brother, Jack ‘Bombick. Surviving are his wife, Renate; sons, Tom and Rudy, both of Aus- ~ tin; daughters, Sandy, Austin; Melissa Neaville, New Orleans; three grandchildren; a brother, Don Bombick, Dayton, OH; and a sister, Marie Havrilla, Shavertown, Jackson Township. ELIAS MILLER Elias W. “Doc” Miller, 76, of Upper Demunds Road, Dallas, died June 29, 1997, at Depart- ment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Miners Mills, Wilkes- Barre, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Manuel Miller. He lived in Dallas since 1939. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. | Prior to his retirement, he owned an automobile repair shop on Upper Demunds Road. He was a member of Plains American Legion Post 558. Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie Coolbaugh; sons, Charles W., Reading; Kenneth E., Wyoming; Robert G., Dallas; Tho- mas J., Harveys Lake; daughters, Constance Fleming, Catawissa; Barbara Buck, Danville; a brother, David, Saratoga Springs, NY; and 17 grandchildren. MARY ROBINSON Mary Elizabeth Robinson, of Druid Hills, Shavertown, Kingston Township, died June 28, 1997, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Born in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Lydia Hughes Morgan. She graduated from the former Larksville High School; Bloomsburg College, and College Misericordia, Dallas. She also earned master’s degree in educa- tion form Wayne University, De- troit, MI. She was employed as a teacher by the former Dallas Borough School District until 1947 when she moved to Detroit where she taught at Lincoln Park Schools until her retirement in 1975. She was . a. member of Shavertown United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette H. Morgan and a brother, R. Kenneth Morgan. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Thomas Robert Robinson, and two nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, 140 N. Main St., Shavertown, with the Rev. Douglas A. and the Rev. Janet B. Clark, pastors of Shavertown Unitied Methodist Church offici- ating. Interment will be in Fern Knoll - Burial Park, Dallas.
