The Kingston Township super- visors will honor Ibbotson and Edward Holland Jr., who first spotted the fire, at 8 p.m. at their Feb. 12 meeting. - State police trooper Andrew Petros Jr. has ruled that arson was the cause of the fire, which started on the home's front porch. He would not release any other details because the fire is still under investigatio+n by the King- ston Township Police Department. Ibbotson went to the scene after Holland noticed the fire while stopped at the light at Rt. 309 and Carverton Rd. He went directly to the police station, and notified Ibbotson, who was on duty at the time.. Kingston Twp. police chief James Balavage said Tuesday that no suspects had been identified, and no other witnesses had come forward. He did not know what substance, if any, might have been used to start the fire, but specu- lated it was not gasoline, which would have burst into flame. The house had asbestos siding, Balavage said, but the fire got behind the siding and into the wall, which would explain its rapid rise to the second floor. Gwiazdowski said she picked up more cards than she ever imagined.
