Sem students selected as AP Scholars Twelve students at Wyoming Seminary have been named as Advanced Placement Scholars by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations. The College Board recognizes three levels of achievement - the AP Scholar with Distinction, the AP Scholar with Honor and the AP Scholar. AtWyoming Seminary, Michael Hurwitz of Shavertown was named AP Scholar with Distinction, earn- ing a grade of three or above on five or more AP exams, with an average grade of at least 3.5. Hurwitz graduated from Wyoming Seminary last spring and is a first-year student at Williams Col- lege. Those named as AP Scholars completed three or more AP ex- ams with grades of three or higher include Sarah Richards, of Dal- ~ las, first year student at Boston College; and senior Anjali Udoshi = of Dallas. On dean's list at Shippensburg A total of four Shippensburg University students from the Back Mountain were named to the Dean's List for the Fall semester. To be named to the list, a stu- dent must achieve a semester grade point average of at lest 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
